THE TREVOR PROJECT HERO AWARD

The Trevor Project is a non-profit organization that operates the nation’s only around-the-clock suicide prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth. On June 30, 2008 at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC they gave me their Trevor Project Hero Award which honors an individual who, through his or her
example, support, volunteerism and/or occupation, is an inspiration to gay and questioning youth.

ANTI VIOLENCE PROJECT COURAGE AWARD

On Monday, October 27, 2008 I was presented with a Courage Award from the Anti-Violence Project.  The award was given to me by Ana Matronic of the Scissor Sisters

The Courage Awards honor those who have made a tremendous impact on the lives of lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual (LGBT) and HIV-affected people in New York City and across the nation, and who are in many ways, reflective of the mission and spirit of the Anti-Violence Project's service to the Community.
