I was named AudioFile's Best Voice of the Year award for Macbeth! Also, Bram Stoker's Dracula won AudioFile's Best Audiobook of the Year 2012!

GOLDEN KEY AWARD

I won the Golden Key Award at the Key West Film Festival for my role as Rudy in Any Day Now!

NAPA FF SPOTLIGHT/BEST ACTOR AWARDS

Napa Film Fest - The Actors: Alan Cumming, Garret Dillahunt, Jeff Grace, Madeline Zima, Vanessa Ray

At the Napa Valley film festival Any Day Now won the audience award for Best Feature, and I won the Mount Veeder Peak Performance Prize for Favorite Actor or actress.  The best thing about this award, aside from it helping with the push towards the movie's release was that I got 24 bottles of amazing Napa Valley wine!!

Earlier at the festival I was honored with the Spotlight Tribute award, hosted by Billy Bush.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE AWARD

I was so honoured to go to Denver to receive the 2012 Making A Difference Award from the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Matt's mum, Judy Shepard, presented me with the award and I was surprised and overwhelmed by the comments she read out, collected from my family and closest friends.

The award recognizes individuals and organizations for their unwavering and longstanding leadership in working towards a world free of hate.

CRIME THRILLER AWARDS NOMINATION

I was nominated for The Good Wife in the Best Supporting Actor category of the Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards 2012

OUTFEST GRAND JURY BEST ACTOR AWARD

I won the Best Actor Award at Outfest, LA's LGBT film festival for Any Day Now. The film also won the Audience Award

I was nominated with The Good Wife cast in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category at the 2012 SAG awards

I was honored with the Live Out Loud Star Award which is given to individuals who have helped Live Out Loud empower LGBT youth!
