After Louie was the closing night film of the 2017 Frameline film festival at the Castro Theatre in San Fransisco, and before the screening I was presented with the Frameline award. The award is given to person or entity that has made a major contribution to LGBTQ representation in film, television, or the media arts.
This May, I received an Honorary Doctorate of the Arts from Boston Conservatory at Berklee in recognition of my activism and contributions to the international arts community. I also performed with some of the school's wonderful students.
I won an Emmy for co-hosting, with George Oliphant, the NBC 1st Look show about Scotland! Here I am with director/producer Brian Mait at the ceremony in NYC.
I was honoured by my East Village neighbours, Performance Space 122, at their Spring Gala.
