Last night at @clubcumming was such fun! We celebrated our 2nd anniversary with performances by @catccohen @lance_horne and some of the @mondaysintheclub regulars, a special surprise duet by @rickilake and @drew_brody, songs from Michael T, Xavier and the incredible jazzy sounds of @hotsardines (and me doing a late night, slightly drunky duet). Also pictured outside the bar are my partners in the bar @the_danielnardicio @darren_dryden and @benjaminmaisani . Last night was a perfect distillation of everything Club Cumming is about: music, laughter, surprise, family, friskiness and love. Thanks to everyone who came and everyone who continues to make our little bar my dream come true.

This picture is the first time I remember having fun after 9/11. At the end of the week when they opened the bridges and tunnels again I went upstate with my friend @gcollier and my dog, Honey. I was just so worried about what would happen next. This terrible thing had happened but it felt like only the beginning of terrible things. America felt like it had been awakened into a world the rest of us had been living in. I guess now we are all more used to terrible things as terrible things are happening all around us every day. This is a sad day but it’s important to remember that soon you’ll be able to laugh and have fun.
