At the Napa Valley film festival Any Day Now won the audience award for Best Feature, and I won the Mount Veeder Peak Performance Prize for Favorite Actor or actress. I was so honoured to go to Denver to receive the 2012 Making A Difference Award from the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Matt's mum, Judy Shepard, presented me with the award and I was surprised and overwhelmed by the comments she read out, collected from my family and closest friends.
